Bitcoin Scarcity Rises as Institutional Demand Exceeds Supply

Institutional investors are driving demand for Bitcoin, leading to a tightening supply and creating conditions that could push prices higher. Daily inflows from institutions, ETFs, and governments exceed the daily mined supply by four times. This influx has resulted in a sharp imbalance between outflows (3,196 BTC per day) and inflows, leaving fewer Bitcoins circulating. While individual investors are selling off some Bitcoin (3,600+ BTC per day), the demand from institutional players is far exceeding that figure, further intensifying the scarcity dynamics.
