Bitwise Files for First U.S. Chainlink ETF, Offering Direct Exposure to $LINK

Asset manager Bitwise has filed an S-1 with the SEC to bring a spot Chainlink ETF to US markets. This would be the first of its kind and offers investors direct exposure to Chainlink’s native token without directly owning it. The proposed fund, called the Bitwise Chainlink ETF, will hold LINK tokens in custody, tracking the CME CF Chainlink-Dollar Reference Rate. Coinbase Custody Trust Company will serve as custodian, while Coinbase Prime handles trading. This spot Chainlink ETF has a streamlined design, making regulatory approval faster than other altcoin-linked proposals.
