Ethereum PoS Network Witnessing Surge in Exit and Entry Queues

The Ethereum Proof-of-Stake (PoS) network is experiencing a noticeable increase in both exit and entry queue lengths. The current exit queue stands at 914,690 ETH, representing approximately $4.03 billion in assets, with withdrawal delays stretching up to 15 days and 21 hours. Similarly, the queue for joining the network has also seen an increase, accumulating around 623,750 ETH worth roughly $2.75 billion. This queue currently faces a waiting period of 10 days and 20 hours. 🤯
This dynamic situation presents two contrasting market forces.
One factor driving this surge in withdrawals is the potential for profit-locking by stakers following Ethereum’s recent climb since hitting its low point in April. Meanwhile, new deposits driven by regulatory benefits and institutional demand are fueling the growth of the entry queue.
