Canary Capital Files for US-Focused Crypto ETF

Financial firm Canary Capital has submitted a proposal to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) seeking approval to launch a new crypto exchange-traded fund (ETF). This proposed fund, named “Canary American-Made Crypto ETF”, aims to provide U.S.-based investors exposure to tokens specifically created within America. 80% of the assets in this ETF will be made up of cryptocurrency projects with strong ties to the United States, while remaining 20% will come from other countries’ markets. This move is seen as a signal of institutional interest in the U.S. crypto market and aligns with the growing regulatory clarity surrounding digital asset investments.
