Taiwan Charges 14 in Major $41 Million Crypto Fraud Case

Taiwanese prosecutors have filed charges against 14 individuals connected to a significant cryptocurrency fraud case involving the ACE Exchange, resulting in illicit gains of approximately $41 million. The charges highlight heightened scrutiny of crypto activities within the region and raise concerns about investor vulnerabilities as authorities continue their investigation. Notably, over NT$100 million in cryptocurrencies were seized from the suspects, who allegedly used manipulated tokens to deceive investors.
