Russia Pushes for Legal Cryptocurrency Exchanges: Duma Proposes New Framework

A group of Russian lawmakers has proposed a landmark change to the country’s approach to cryptocurrencies. Members of the State Duma, the lower house of parliament, have called on the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) to establish legal platforms for cryptocurrency trading. This proposal challenges the CBR’s long-standing opposition to widespread access for Russians to digital currencies. 📚
