Ripple and SBI Aim for Japan Launch of RLUSD Stablecoin in 2026

Ripple and SBI Holdings have announced plans to launch RLUSD, a US dollar-backed stablecoin, in Japan by early 2026. The stablecoin, with a projected market cap of $666 million, will be distributed through SBI VC Trade, a licensed subsidiary of SBI Holdings that specializes in electronic payments.
