Pennsylvania Bill Bans Crypto Holdings by Public Officials

A new bill in Pennsylvania aims to curb the potential for conflicts of interest in public office by prohibiting officials and their families from profiting from cryptocurrencies. The legislation, HB1812, introduces a potential $50,000 fine for violations. Introduced by State Representative Ben Waxman, the bill aligns with broader national efforts to address conflicts of interest in political positions.
