Tencent’s Valorant Mobile game has made a significant splash in the Chinese market, claiming the top spot on the iPhone charts after its launch with over 170,000 downloads. The game attracted $1 million in spending within its first days of availability. Analysts are attributing this success to Tencent’s long-term strategy for building an evergreen franchise, which aligns with their recent experience with DnF Mobile and a similar approach to Valorant. While the global launch date has yet to be announced, the game is currently available exclusively in China.
