Crypto Market Suffers $229 Million in Liquidations Over 24 Hours

Recent data from Coinglass reveals a significant drop in the cryptocurrency market, with over $229 million in liquidations recorded within the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $104 million in losses, while short positions saw $124 million in liquidation. Bitcoin (BTC) experienced a notable $36.43 million loss, followed by Ethereum (ETH) with $94.87 million in liquidations.
