Ronin Transitions to Ethereum L2, Focuses on Gamified Apps and $RON Staking Rewards

Ronin is shifting from a sidechain focused on gaming to an Ethereum Layer-2 network. This transition will bring faster transaction speeds, expanded use cases, and a new staking model designed to reward developers. The upgrade, dubbed ‘Ronin’s Homecoming’, is expected to be completed in two phases by mid-2026.
