SEC Unveils ‘Project Crypto’ Plan to Regulate Cryptocurrency Markets

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is launching a new initiative to address the burgeoning cryptocurrency market, aiming for the United States to become a global crypto hub. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins revealed details of this program called ‘Project Crypto,’ which he said was designed with the goal of making the US the leading force in cryptocurrency innovation.
