Estonian Banker’s $1 Billion Ethereum Wallets Become Inaccessible

An Estonian banker, Rain Lõhmus, who purchased a substantial sum of Ethereum (ETH) during the 2015 Initial Coin Offering (ICO) has been left unable to access his large ETH holdings. The dormant address, valued at over $1 billion, remains inaccessible due to the loss of the private key. While he acknowledged ownership of the address in the past, a significant amount of effort was not put towards recovering the lost key, leaving the funds locked away.
