Bit Digital Shifts Focus to Ethereum, Sees Revenue Drop in Q2

Bit Digital has made a major strategic shift in its business model by focusing its efforts on Ethereum staking and treasury operations. This transition, which was initiated during the second quarter of 2025, led to a 11.7% drop in revenue. The company is now prioritizing Ethereum accumulation and staking, abandoning their previous Bitcoin mining activities. 121,076 ETH have been accumulated for staking. The CEO Sam Tabar led this shift, aiming to position Bit Digital as a leading player in the Ethereum space. This move marks one of the first instances of a publicly traded firm fully embracing an Ethereum-centric strategy within the crypto industry.
