Michael Saylor Predicts Bitcoin’s Dominance Over Traditional Finance

Bitcoin reached a new record high today, prompting MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor to deliver his perspective on Wall Street’s resistance to the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Speaking with Fox Business, Saylor emphasized that investment opportunities presented by Bitcoin surpass those of traditional assets, claiming it yields an average annual return of over 50%. “Bitcoin is an asset to hold for the long term and has averaged over 50% annualized returns over the long term to date”. He further predicts a future where companies will leverage Bitcoin and its ecosystem for greater profitability. Saylor argues that investing in Bitcoin can achieve an average annual return of up to 40% compared to the declining yields from traditional assets like Treasury bonds, which are expected to lose around 10% annually. Saylor believes this shift towards Bitcoin-based investment strategies will become mainstream among institutional investors. While acknowledging Wall Street’s slow adoption of Bitcoin, he concludes that “It will take a long time for Wall Street to fully grasp the potential of digital capital and the Bitcoin ecosystem. Even if they are late, Bitcoin is unstoppable.” *This is not investment advice.*
