Bitcoin Overtakes Alphabet’s Market Value: A New All-Time High

Bitcoin has reached a historic high, soaring past $124,457 and briefly exceeding Google’s parent company, Alphabet, in market capitalization. While this event marks the second time Bitcoin has overtaken Alphabet in less than a year, it follows a similar pattern seen in July, where Bitcoin experienced a pullback before regaining its status. According to Companiesmarketcap, Bitcoin currently holds sixth place globally as the most valuable asset. To further challenge the tech giant’s dominance, Bitcoin needs an additional $2 billion in market cap and for Apple, a substantial $36 billion increase.
