El Salvador is launching a pilot program to teach children aged 7-13 about Bitcoin in schools, starting with 50 public schools in La Libertad. The program will integrate three hours of lessons into Social Studies classes, aiming to boost financial literacy and understanding of the cryptocurrency world. This initiative reflects El Salvador’s commitment to incorporating Bitcoin into its national framework. The Ministry of Education and National Bitcoin Office are spearheading the program, with 1,000 students participating initially. The program could influence other countries’ educational content as it highlights a growing trend towards integrating digital currencies into curriculums.
