Corporate Bitcoin Holdings Surge Past $100 Billion: Fears of Nationalization Emerge

A significant milestone has been reached in the world of corporate cryptocurrency holdings. According to Cointelegraph, institutional players have accumulated over $100 billion worth of Bitcoin, reflecting an accelerating trend in adoption throughout 2025. Bitcoin holdings at publicly traded companies now exceed 1,000 BTC each, with Strategy leading the pack, holding a massive 506,137 BTC worth $42 billion as of March 31. This represents 59% of their market capitalization. While Tesla holds 11,509 BTC, this equates to less than 1% of their $758 billion market cap. 2025 has seen massive corporate Bitcoin purchases exceeding $47.3 billion, surpassing ETF inflows by a significant margin ($15.6 billion). This trend suggests companies are choosing direct asset control over third-party fund exposure.
