Bo Hines Transitioning to AI, Leaving Crypto Policy Leadership

Executive Director of the White House Crypto Council, Bo Hines is moving his expertise into artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives. His departure as effective August 10, 2025, will be followed by Patrick Witt taking over the leadership role. The move comes with questions about potential shifts in U.S. cryptocurrency policy and its implications for the Bitcoin Reserve initiative.
