Bitcoin Shows Negative Kimchi Premium on August 11

On August 11, Bitcoin’s price on South Korea’s Upbit exchange saw a 1.49% increase to 162.57 million KRW. Meanwhile, Binance reported a price of 164.99 million KRW, resulting in a -2.42 million KRW gap and a negative Kimchi Premium of -1.47%. Ethereum (ETH) also exhibits a negative Kimchi Premium at -1.40%, with other major altcoins experiencing discounts compared to global prices: Solana (-1.30%), Ripple (-1.33%), Dogecoin (-1.20%), and Shiba Inu (-1.02%). Most of these top altcoins present negative Kimchi Premiums within the -1.0% to -1.4% range.
