Binance and BBVA Partner for Secure Crypto Custody Service

Binance has entered into a partnership with BBVA, Spain’s leading bank, to offer off-exchange crypto custody services, designed to enhance security in the face of increased regulatory scrutiny. This strategic move follows the FTX exchange collapse and reflects the growing need for institutional-grade security measures in the crypto market. 8 August 2025 marked the official launch date of this collaboration.
