Ripple and SEC Reach Agreement, Ending Long-Running Court Battle

After years of legal wrangling, the Ripple vs. SEC case has reached a decisive conclusion. In a joint court filing, Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have agreed to release $125 million from an escrow account, marking the end of this protracted litigation.
