U.S. Official Warns Huawei’s AI Chip Production Will Remain Limited

The U.S. Commerce Department has issued a stark warning that Huawei Technologies, despite its ambition, is unlikely to produce more than 200,000 advanced artificial intelligence chips by 2025. This limited output falls short of China’s growing demand, yet signals China’s continued effort to challenge U.S. dominance in the AI chip sector.
