Ripple & SEC Reach Settlement: Ending $125M Court Battle

After a five-year legal battle, Ripple Labs and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have reached a settlement agreement, potentially ending the high-profile lawsuit over XRP sales. The move comes after Ripple requested to end the case by paying a $50 million penalty and returning the remaining $75 million held in an escrow account.
