My Big Coin Operators Face $25.8 Million Fine for Crypto Fraud

A Massachusetts court has imposed a substantial fine of nearly $25.8 million on the operators of My Big Coin, ordering them to compensate the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for their fraudulent activities. This decision was issued on Wednesday and targets both My Big Coin Pay, Inc., and My Big Coin, Inc. The court also holds John Roche and Mark Gillespie, the company leaders, accountable for tricking investors. They were ordered to pay a $19.32 million fine and an additional $6.44 million in restitution to 28 victims who were defrauded by the scheme.
