Two Men Plead Not Guilty in Crypto-Related Kidnapping Case

A high-profile kidnapping case involving cryptocurrency has reached a court verdict. John Woeltz and William Duplessie, accused of holding a victim hostage for 17 days to obtain Bitcoin access, have pleaded not guilty. The ordeal, which began in May 2025, targeted a victim held at a SoHo townhouse.
