SEC Postpones Decision on Crypto Spot ETFs, Delaying Approval for Grayscale, VanEck, and Bitwise

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has yet again delayed its decision regarding the approval of spot crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs). This delay affects Grayscale Hedera Trust (HBAR), VanEck Avalanche ETF, and Bitwise Dogecoin ETF, all awaiting SEC approval for listing and trading. The SEC’s action triggers a 21-day public review period where they can assess the proposed rule changes. Individuals with opposing views also have an opportunity to submit rebuttals within 35 days.
