SEC Chairman Proposes Decentralized Crypto Management

The new head of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Paul Atkins, has advocated for direct control of cryptocurrency holdings by individuals. In a recent speech at the Decentralized Finance Round Table Meeting organized by the SEC’s Crypto Task Force, he emphasized blockchain technology’s role in empowering users to self-manage their digital assets.
