US and China Agree Limited Trade Framework, Delaying Tariff Hikes

Following two days of closed-door talks in London, the US and China have agreed to a limited trade framework aimed at easing tensions and postponing massive tariff increases. This agreement, announced late Tuesday by Reuters, will remove some restrictions on China’s rare earth exports and unwind certain U.S. export bans, but offers no permanent solution to the larger trade conflict.
