Trump Finalizes Trade Deal with China, Increasing Tariffs On Imports

President Trump declared the US-China trade agreement complete on Wednesday after two days of talks in London. The deal sees the U.S. imposing a 55% tariff on Chinese imports and China retaliating with a 10% tariff on U.S. exports. Notably, this follows a previous deal stalled due to China’s restrictions on key minerals.
