SEC to Launch ‘Altcoin ETF Summer’ with Potential Approvals in July

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is poised to accelerate approvals of cryptocurrency-linked exchange-traded funds (ETFs), potentially leading to a wave of “altcoin ETF summer” as early as July. The SEC could grant greenlight for ETFs tracking broad crypto indexes next month, according to Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas.
