Ripple’s XRPL Sees First Tokenized US Treasury Launch on OUSG

On Wednesday, Ripple partner Ondo Finance officially launched its tokenized treasury product, OUSG, on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). This marks a significant milestone for both companies and signifies the real-world application of tokenization. OUSG, backed by BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, allows for 24/7 institutional access to short-term U.S. government treasuries and can be minted and redeemed using RLUSD stablecoin.
