Brian Quintenz, President Trump’s nominee to head the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), has voiced strong support for granting the agency jurisdiction over spot crypto commodity markets. His remarks come as he prepares for a confirmation hearing before the Senate Agriculture Committee where his potential oversight of cryptocurrency and prediction markets will be assessed.
