Bitcoin’s Kimchi Premium Dips Slightly in South Korea

On June 11, Bitcoin traded with a slight dip in South Korea, specifically at 0.56% above its spot price on the Upbit exchange. As of 12:00 AM KST, Bitcoin’s price was reported at 149.21 million KRW, down 0.75% from the previous day. This resulted in a Kimchi Premium of 830,000 KRW on global exchange Binance, where BTC reached 148.38 million KRW. Other altcoins also displayed notable premiums: Ethereum at 0.50%, Solana (SOL) at 0.71%, XRP (XRP) at 0.62%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.52%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.56%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with premiums around 0.5% to 0.7%.
