Coinbase Introduces cbXRP and cbDOGE for Faster DeFi Access on Base

Coinbase has launched wrapped versions of XRP and Dogecoin, named cbXRP and cbDOGE respectively, to enhance the functionality of its Layer-2 network, Base. These tokens bridge the gap between the XRP Ledger and Dogecoin Blockchain and Ethereum’s ecosystem, enabling seamless transactions for users within DeFi applications on Base. 2.3 million cbXRP (equivalent to $5 million) and 10.4 million cbDOGE (equivalent to $1.9 million) were issued on day one of this launch.
