Circle Stock Soars 200% on NYSE Debut, Exceeding IPO Price

Circle Internet Group’s stock opened its trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Thursday with a remarkable surge of over 200% above its initial public offering (IPO) price of $31. The company reached an intraday peak of above $94, marking one of the most impressive IPO openings in recent history and propelling Circle’s market valuation beyond $20 billion at its peak. The IPO raised approximately $1.05 billion by selling 34 million shares. This funding brings Circle’s initial valuation to roughly $6.8 billion before factoring in options and other securities, which then pushed the company’s fully diluted valuation near $8.1 billion.
