Circle Goes Public: Stablecoin Giant Lists on NYSE

Circle, the company behind the popular stablecoin USDC, has successfully completed its Initial Public Offering (IPO) and is now publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). This milestone marks a significant step forward for both Circle and the wider cryptocurrency industry. 25 times more demand than available shares were traded, leading to Circle raising its IPO price to $31 per share and generating over $1 billion in capital from investors. The company plans to use this funding to expand its digital finance offerings through products like USDC, EURC, and Circle Payments.
