Bitcoin Trades at 2.07% Kimchi Premium in South Korea on June 6

On June 6th, Bitcoin trading on South Korea’s Upbit exchange showed a slight decrease of 0.28% to reach 144.8 million KRW. However, it was still trading at a premium known as the ‘Kimchi Premium’ – currently standing at 2.07%. This translates to a price gap of 2.93 million KRW on Binance and signifies a healthy level of investor interest in Bitcoin within South Korea’s market.
