Trump-Linked Asset Manager Seeks SEC Approval for Bitcoin ETF on Truth Social

A potential expansion for Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency portfolio is underway as his associate Yorkville America Digital has filed an application with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) linked to his social media platform, Truth Social. The application was submitted to NYSE Arca on June 3rd on behalf of Yorkville America Digital, a partner in Trump Media & Technology Group, which owns Truth Social. This move marks another step towards bringing crypto into the traditional financial world and could impact the already crowded market for Bitcoin ETFs.
