Pakistani Minister Meets U.S. Officials to Explore Digital Asset Cooperation

Pakistan’s Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain, Bilal Bin Saqib, recently met with Robert ‘Bo’ Hines, Executive Director of the U.S. President’s Digital Asset Advisory Committee, at the White House. The discussion focused on digital asset collaboration, including the potential integration of Bitcoin into Pakistan’s economy. They also explored opportunities for blockchain technology to support innovative ecosystems and promote economic inclusion. This meeting follows Pakistan’s recent initiative to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR), along with plans to allocate power resources for Bitcoin mining and AI data zones.
