Ispace Sets to Launch Second Lunar Landing Attempt

Following a failed first attempt in April 2023, Japanese company ispace is preparing for another lunar landing this week. The Resilience lander has received a revised landing time of 3:17 p.m. Eastern on June 5th, seven minutes earlier than the initial announcement. The change is a result of engineers reviewing maneuvers performed in May to adjust the spacecraft’s orbit.
