Bitcoin Trades at 1.77% Kimchi Premium in South Korea on June 5

On June 5th, Bitcoin’s price on South Korea’s Upbit exchange reached 146.18 million KRW, a slight decrease of 0.78% compared to the previous day. This translated to a Kimchi Premium of 1.77%. While on global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 143.64 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 2.54 million KRW and reflecting a premium of 1.77%. Other major cryptocurrencies also showcased notable premiums. Ethereum (ETH) held a Kimchi Premium of 1.74%, while Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) all exhibited premiums between 1.75% and 1.80%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 1.7% to 1.8% range.
