Tether Invests $1.1 Billion in SoftBank’s Bitcoin Firm, Boosting Twenty One Capital

Stablecoin issuer Tether has allocated a substantial 10,500 BTC to support Softbank’s investment in Twenty One Capital (XXI). This investment, facilitated by Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, will contribute significantly to boosting the Bitcoin-focused firm’s capital. Ardoino explained that this move is part of Tether Group’s initiative to pre-fund SoftBank’s investment in Twenty One Capital. The recent transaction involved a block from Mempool showing 10,500 BTC sent to a known address. Notably, this significant Bitcoin allocation is worth around $1.1 billion according to current market prices.
