World Vision Becomes First Nonprofit to Trade Crypto in South Korea Post Ban Lifted

World Vision Korea marks a significant milestone as it becomes the first non-profit organization to sell cryptocurrencies in South Korea following the easing of regulations for institutional trading. The humanitarian aid group sold 0.55 Ether (ETH) worth approximately $1,436 on Upbit, according to Dunamu, the parent company of the exchange. This donation was part of a campaign that encouraged users to donate cryptocurrency to support underprivileged youth unable to afford school supplies.
