Wintermute’s ‘CrimeEnjoyor’ Protects Ethereum Wallets from Attacks

Cryptocurrency market maker Wintermute has released a new tool designed to protect user wallets from sophisticated attacks leveraging a new vulnerability in the Ethereum network. Wintermute’s code, named “CrimeEnjoyor,” identifies malicious contracts that attempt to steal funds by exploiting a specific feature of Ethereum’s Pectra upgrade. The code warns users directly on the contract interface to prevent them from unknowingly sending ETH to these compromised addresses.
