Wintermute Introduces Security Measures to Combat Malicious Ethereum Contract Attacks

Wintermute has taken a proactive step in combating malicious Ethereum contracts designed to steal funds through automatic drains of compromised wallets. The firm developed a system called ‘CrimeEnjoyor’ that directly inserts warnings into these contracts, visible on the blockchain. This action comes in response to an increase in attacks leveraging a recent Ethereum upgrade (EIP-7702).
