US Opens Door to Increase Bitcoin Reserves with Budget-Neutral Funding

The US government has confirmed the possibility of expanding its existing Bitcoin reserves, though only under strict budgetary guidelines. David Sacks, a key advisor on crypto assets, stated that President Trump’s 2025 executive order authorizing a national Bitcoin reserve allows for this expansion, provided it is funded in a budget-neutral manner. This means no new debt or taxes need be incurred.
