Circle Expands IPO Size, Aims For $6.31 Billion Valuation

Circle Internet Group is boosting its initial public offering (IPO) plans on the NYSE, increasing the number of shares offered and signaling strong investor interest. The expanded offering now encompasses 12.8 million shares priced between $27-$28, up from the original 9.6 million shares at a lower price range. Existing shareholders are also increasing their selling plans to 19.2 million shares. Major financial institutions like J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, and Goldman Sachs have been leading this IPO effort. Circle’s enhanced IPO will likely raise $444.4 million in net proceeds, further solidifying the company’s position within the cryptocurrency space.
