BitMEX Defends Against Fake NFT Job Offer Attack by Lazarus Group

Crypto exchange BitMEX thwarted a cyberattack attempt by the notorious Lazarus Group, hackers linked to North Korea. The group attempted to infiltrate BitMEX’s systems through fake job offers related to an NFT project on LinkedIn. Despite the attack’s sophisticated tactics, it was ultimately blocked thanks to robust security measures and early detection.
