Palmer Luckey Leads Funding for Stealth Stablecoin Firm Atticus

Atticus, a stealth stablecoin startup operating under the radar, is attracting significant interest from investors. The company was founded by Owen Rapaport, known for his work at Aer Compliance, and Jacob Hirschman, formerly of Circle as special counsel and now an advisor to the venture. Crypto firm Haun Ventures has already joined the investment round. This new funding led by Luckey could propel Atticus’ valuation up to $1.5 billion to $2 billion, potentially making it the first stablecoin unicorn of 2023.
